1. Who wrote these training modules?
These training modules were written by Kerry Mitchell who established Green Real Estate Education in 2008. No one was teaching real estate consumers about the benefits of green building, so she took it upon herself to self-educate, following sustainable building experts around the southeast for close to a year, did her own research and wrote courses for the various disciplines within the real estate industry on green building basics. Her courses gained CEU approvals in trade associations in over 17 states. Kerry found experts in green insurance metrics and collaborated in writing “Green Building for Insurance Professionals.” That effort resulting in gaining CEU approval in all 50 states, She is responsible for educating close to 20,000 consumers in sustainability metrics and green building basics in the various business sectors.
